Gutenberg Design stworzył logo dla Polskiego Związku Podnoszenia Ciężarów. Firma została zaproszona do konkursu i go wygrała.
Autorką nowego logo sztangistów jest Aleksandra Pawłowska. Agencja Gutenberg Design wcześniej zaprojektowała symbol graficzny m.in. dla WTK Anwil czy Eurobasket 2009 Poland.
Logo powstało w oparciu o najprostsze elementy kojarzące się z podnoszeniem ciężarów.
Rysunek obciążników sztangi jest dynamiczny, charakteryzujący energię sportowców. Kolorystyka kręgów odpowiada masie zakładanych kolejno ciężarów na sztangę.
Znak orła nawiązuje do godła narodowego, charakter jego jednak odzwierciedla emocje związane z dyscypliną podnoszenia ciężarów oraz siłę zawodników.
Dominujący kolor czerwony podkreśla emocje, jakie wzbudzają zmagania sportowców oraz nawiązuje do barw narodowych.
Nie tylko logo wiąże PZPC w Włocławkiem. Sponsorem generalnym sztangistów jest bowiem Anwil S.A.
